their home studio in Snowflake, AZ., Mary and Timothy Windwalker have more
than thirty-five years of combined shoemaking experience, so you can be

withstand years of use with the proper care: ten years or longer in most
cases!
At Windwalker, we start by getting to know
the customer. An investment of this quality demands it. Since each pair of
moccasins is individually crafted, this leaves room for the wearer to help
create a truly unique piece of art that reflects the taste of the buyer. We
have available a myriad of colors, leathers, buttons and accessories to make
your footwear just right for you. Having made more than 2,000 pairs of
moccasins, one pair at a time, Tim and Mary=s
experience helps you create the perfect shoes that fit your personality;
from the simplest sun design with fringe to the most complex beaded dragons
with semiprecious stones. Custom designs are our specialty.
After choosing the design and colors that you
like along with any one of our upgrade able Vibram soles, we take a soft
cast of your foot, complete with measurements that guarantees the shoe you
get will fit you like a second skin, not unlike having a suit or dress
tailored for you. A casting takes about fifteen minutes, and then we go on
from there to build your moccasins.
Windwalker stands behind our product. Each
pair is fully guaranteed for a year. Should anything tear or break in that
time, including the soles, we=ll
fix it absolutely free! Windwalker moccasins are designed to be refurbished
or repaired, if needed, as the years go on, increasing the lifetime of your
custom footwear.
Windwalker moccasins are strong and built to
last. On all of our shoes, standard features include a heel guard and wrap
around toe cap that covers your foot in two layers of leather and provides
excellent ankle support. We also provide a dome top on our shoes, a rolled
leather edge for a fine-finished look, as well as double stitching for
durability-a Windwalker exclusive. These are features for which other
moccasins makers usually charge extra.
